Colin missed his shot at ever running for President. He had a chance in 96 to run against Clinton, and he more or less refused it. I think he had a good chance of winning too. Hijacker, how come you want Hilary and then say Presidents should come from a military background? Unless you're counting her involvement with the Rose Law firm as hard combat, I wouldn't disagree with you there. But still, I'm crossing my fingers for Guliani. Obama is nuthin' but a 2 bit prop of the democratic party with a sad boo hoo/inspiring story about his childhood to run on.

Bill Frist, for certain. Why do you think he isn't running for Senate again in 2006. I’d be surprised if John McCain didn’t try another run at it.

Hillary wouldn't stand a chance in hell as the president. There are far to many people, democrats and republican’s alike, who never would vote a women as commander in chief. I think she’d make a killer running mate. I don’t think Dean has a shot. I’m surprised they put him in charge of the DNC. I guess he was a pretty good fund raiser.

Cool beans. I think he might be politically too much of a newcomer though to seriously have a shot at winning. That wouldnt be too bad if he did though. Anybody's better than 4 years of Jeb, Hillary, or *gasp* Kerry... :happycow:

He's too smart to run. I'd vote for him over anyone though. I'd also gladly vote for McCain. Lieberman too. Other then that I'm picking the person who isn't the worst choice in '08.

I heard Obama, Feingold, and Hillary would consider running. I like Obama, Feingold won't win because he's jewish, and Hillary won't win the south. I don't know who the GOP has except McCain, none of those guys are even likable. Giuliani is a likable guy but will be a hard-sell because as mayor of NYC he was banging his assistant while his wife was at home with the kids, he's pro-choice, and for gay rights. Frist looks like a lying politician who believes AIDS can be transferred through sweat and tears--he's a doctor!!

Thank you. Someone finally said it. At least 4 years in the military and preferalbly some combat expierience(they do command the whole armed forces, it would be nice if they knew what they where dealing with).

In all seriousness, he is a pretty good guy. I doubt he’d run for the top spot though, he’s to young. He should wait until 2012, or 2016 depending on how the 2012 election goes. Of course his seat will be up in 2012 and he may not want to loose the national election and not have a job to come back to.

Sen McCain will not get supported by the Republican party, he has too many Democrate ideas (which is what I like). He would have to run independant.

Colin Powell has not had enough time in the government, beyond the military.

Sen Hillary Clinton is already staging herself. Her anti military is the only thing that scares me. She is one tough person, and probably would not take any shit from some countries. But She is all about the $$ too!! Look at her history.

I would run -
Lower tax on Beer
Keep the military strong and paid well
Expand out National parks
Seriously work to improve our Environment
increast the Gas milage on ALL vehicles, and require them for SUV's and all passanger vehicles.
Work to improve Mass transit
Find alternitive Fuels
Stop drilling in Alaska
work to be better neighbors with Mexico and Canuck land, as well as Europe, Asia and the mid east
Buy everyone here a gold account
make Schools better
try to help make Americans smarter.
