o and since we are giving out dating advice here i got one as well......
so i was kinda "seeing" this one girl for a while and everything was going great, then we started to not talk as much as we used to so i broke it off cuz i felt like i was just using her to get some action.... so i then got a friend of hers sn and we have been talking for a while and im starting to like her.... but i don't know if she likes me in that way...... and then i also still have feelings for the first girl.... so im just kinda confused on what to do

If you guys drifted apart and didn't talk as much as you used to, there probably wasn't much there. If there was, you'd have both been putting in the time and energy to keep it going.

Logan is right. She's an ex for a reason. Move on to someone else. Although dating an ex's friend is usually a good way to ask for trouble and can make a situation rather messy.

Shy girls sometimes need a bit of convincing that you like them. And being shy, she may not convey it so easily. Here's what you do.

Go to her for advice about this very situation. Let her know that you have a friend you like, etc and that you wanna know her take on such a thing. Don't say that she reminds you of the girl. Play it cool. Say that she listens well, gives good advice, or that you trust her judgment.

Then, try to get her to say some good things about you. Say that you aren't sure if a girl like that would want a guy like me. Fish for a couple of compliments in a sly way. And when she gives them, say something along the lines of "Maybe if she turns me down I should take you out since you think so highly of me? A date this weekend if she says no?" So, this depends on if you get good feedback from her in the compliments department, etc. Tell her you'll get back to her on the date thing. Of course you will tell her "she said no" rather late the next evening (at earliest - don't get up w/ her before that b/c it would look odd to say you talked to her about it by 11:00 am) Then when you hold her to her promise, make sure she knows what your plan was after you guys are out at dinner. She should think it sweet of you to go to such lengths for a date.
