Re: How To Really Stop Violence In Sports

When I started reading this I thought it was going to be a joke, but I actually agree. Did you hear about how the Duke students ridiculed a Wake Forest basketball player whose Grandfather was recently murdered? I like Duke, but the Cameron Crazies need a wake up call. These are our brightest student acting with total disregard to any moral standard.

Parents at little league games should be arrested and spend 30 days in jail for grossly acting out of line, i.e. using profanity, threatening others and provoking violence.

Professional sports need to lower ticket prices, so the people that go to the games don't feel they own the place and can do anything they please.

Anyone who provokes a fight at any gathering, game or what not, should be looking at the same penalties for inciting a riot.

At Professional events, they should at least quit serving alcohol shortly after the halftime intermission.
