On 3-23-05 I was burned on about 40% of my body with 2nd and 3rd degree burns. At the first hospital I was given a piss test with then flowned to a second hospital where I spend 5 days under their care. In this hospital I was given at least 2 bags of IV flds a day until releasted from hospital. On 4-1-05 the piss doctor called and said that weed showed up in my system which of course i said could not be true . So I will be takin another piss test on 4-5-05 or 4-4-6-05.....So what do you think will I be clean with all the iv fluids that have been through me????????

hey.. i wanna know why does it matter if you turned up possitive for a piss test if you were being treated for burns? there is such a thing as doctor patient confedentiality.. are you on probabation or something? in any case.. if you aren't a frequent smoker then you should come up clean.. just remember to exercise a lot and drink lots of water.. if you do smoke everyday then ya may not.umm.. i would suggest the same thing exercise and water. maybe a cleanser..a little bit of luck..

It matters if the insurance covering the visit is workmans comp. If you fail a drug test they dont have to pay. And yes, the insurance company can have access to that drug test, its one of their favs for getting out of it.

oh... haha.. for insurance reasons.. that sucks, you got in an accedent at work.. similar thing happened to me, xcept i did 100,000+ dollars worth of damage between two air planes, and my dirty urine just got me fired... it was fun while it lasted.. -=P hope shit turns out better for you, it would suck if workers comp didnt cover that shit.

I think with all the time that has passed and if you haven't smoked in the hospital, especially with all the fluids they are running through your body there wouldn't be any trace of it. But I'm not doctor.

From what I remember, itshould only take about two weeks MAX to get out of your system. If you weren't a heavy smoker, you should definitely be clean by now. If you were a heavy smoker, you might be cuttin' it close. With all that fluid, as long as you haven't smoked since, you should be fine.

Over here in Australia i work in the mining industry, we constantly get random drug/alcohol tests. Since i used to like a smoke i tried to find out as much as i can about it so what i know is:
a) if you don't smoke much or not at all as you say then you should be fine
b) if your a heavy smoker your screwed
and c) if your a larger person adn even if you don't smoke much you may still be screwed because the majority of THC (the drug part of marijuana) sotres itself in fat cells and as such are not burned off as quick

What usually happens in mining is they send you off site and a week later they retest you, which suggests to me that within a week time frame (i believe 3 days is adequate though) it is eradicated from your system. I hope everything does work out for you dude. It's nasty enough to get burned but to then get hit with that would be totally screwed

I had a buddy who had to take a drug test and he was told to drink a crap load of cranberry juice from someone he knew. He must have drank like 8liters of it a few days and when he got his drug test results he was clean. All he did was smoke weed like once a week or so but give the cranberry juice a try, worked for buddy of mine might for you too.

Good luck with everything man........there are alots of ways around the piss tests......look on the internet for home remedies and "tonics" that you can drink to rid urself of the reefer

just drink a shit load of water before you take the test. they won't take really clear watery piss though. so you have eat a bunch of vitamin c chewables they will make your piss yellow. i passed a drug test like this when i was on probation.

supposedly lots of green tea works, and theres also some pills you can take which covers up the THC temporarily,but i forgot what it was.

Take vitamin B (niacin) for a while, 2-3 pills in the morning and at night. It'll help clean you out.
If your skin (on the arms and such) turns a bit red, don't worry about it. The niacin increases blood flow and makes you feel hot. Other than that, no side effects.

Seriously dont take too much B for too long...a few days you are fine, but more than say a week you can really fuck with your metabolism. Be careful with vitamins...as much as they are good for you in too large quantities, they can be bad...espeically the fat soluable ones (B,C and I think its K are water soluble so they are okay, but like D and A and E can really build up and screw with you).

I am no expert in this just mentioning that if you take significantly more than the recommended daily value you should look into it cause some of them do have side effects (main one with multivitamins is iron so look out for that).
