Gotta be careful, even if reversed at appeal, Kobe when convicted will do the time in jail when sentenced includes time during his appeal period. Don't think he'll just do community service if convicted. To get to Supreme Court, it's take a couple of years, while in jail. Too many Yahoos out there screaming he's guilty as sin and won't let him walk anymore. Rapist shouldn't be let out on the street.

That's why almost half of all reported rape cases are false as posted earlier here. Most fell in the first two catagories you cited, namely interracial disreputes and financial gains. Some involved revenge in getting even, by filing false rape claims.

Most can't get out on bail, what makes yours such an exception?

its unusaul to get out on appeal but in this case i was just involved in the person got out on an appeal bond & that converted (conversion) there assets to stop me from getting them and jumped bail but was just recently caught.

Actually it is not unusual to have an appeal bond, most people just don't realize that it could be done. The downfall of that practice is that if you get out on appeal bond your time stops and if you loose your appeal then all that was wasted time out. It is better to get your time over with unless it is an outragous number of years. I have not seen a lot of time given out in Colorado for adult sex offeces so if he gets a lot it is because of his fame.
