Xbox Mods?

I am getting ready to buy a Xbox and mod it so I can copy games onto a bigger harddrive and have my Xbox play mp3's and etc. I don't really know anything about mod'ing the Xbox so if anyone can help me with what chip I should buy and how do I install the bigger HD and whatever else I should know. oh yeah if I have a mod chip could I still play on Live!?

I'm kinda looking for a mod that will allow me to add a bigger HD and I would like to put avaluanch in it. I'm still looking around but thats what im going for.

I personally installed a larger (80GB) hard drive and installed Avalaunch. It works great for MP3's and such. I haven't tried it on XBL since I am sure it would get banned. You might want to look into the Xtender. It's supposed to allow you to have 3 hard drives in one Xbox. That way you can keep the original hard drive installed for playing on XBL, and then have 2 others for MP3's and videos and whatnot. You can only access one drive at a time. Just google Team Xtender to get more info.
