You play guitar? What kind of setup do you have?

I don't have a guitar at the moment, which is driving me nuts, since I've never had less than 3.... but c'est la vie I suppose.

Anyway, my favorite thus far is the Yamaha APX-4A. It's an older model, but plays well, and has some sentimental value for me.

I like Dean Markley Blue Steel strings. I like 'em light, so I get th Medium Lights.... .30, .38, .64, .86, 1.12, 1.37.

I play a three panel flat back Kreskin. I also use Franko Gigo strings.

Okay, I don't play guitar. But I will soon. And I want a Ibanez. Don't know about the strings.

Re: You play guitar? What kind of setup do you have?

I have three electrics and a bass that I use for my main rig. The electrics are a cheap-ass Rogue brand strat copy that I got online for 70 bucks, an Ibanez GAX70 that I use mostly for blues and jazz, and my pride and joy is a Dean MLX. The Dean is the same model that Dimebag played when he started out. It is the most awesome guitar I have ever owned and I keep it setup for metal. All three of these run through my custom built pedal board that I built out of an old tank shell box. From my board they run into the input jack of either this crappy old solid-state keyboard amp that I use for clean sounds, or my marshall mini-stack. I'll be the first to admit that I don't have the best gear, but it does what I need it to... and it looks kickass on stage.

Re: You play guitar? What kind of setup do you have?

Hmm... for my strings, Ernie Ball Super Slinky all the way. Guitar wise, I have a Yamaha Pacifica that I just refinished and put some Seymour Duncan pickups in, a Hamer tele-copy that I hate, and an 80s Epiphone Flying V that I just got like 2months ago. My amp is a Fender 85. Hmm... lets see, I have a Crybaby wah, a Ibanez DS7 distortion pedal, and a Danelectro BLT slap echo. I'd have better stuff but they keep raising the cost of fuckin tuition... the bastards.

I have a 1975 Sigma acoustic made by Martin. Works for me, used to be my Dad's. I bought it from a woman he had sold it to a long time ago. I use Martin strings.
