shuttle computers - any opinions?
i'm shopping for a new system and don't have the know how to
build my own system, i came across shuttle.com and they seem to be quality in a sexy little box with more bang for the buck than a dell. has anyone experienced any drawbacks other than add on/upgrade limitations due to the size of their units? |

I've built 3 shuttle systems... all are rock solid. Those little boxes are quiet, and stay cool. You won't be able to upgrade much on them- they only have one pci slot, and one agp slot usually. Plus you can only put 2 hard drives, (assuming you don't put a floppy in) but it works out well for specific uses. I wouldn't buy it if you're concerned about upgradability.
