Serious question time...
Alright guys, im wasnt circumcized when i was a kid, so my foreskin is still intact. but the problem is that the opening is too small to completely pull back the skin. right now its ok but ive heard in the long run, it can cause infections from lack of being able to clean under there and it can cause pain while having sex. now im still a virgin, so i havent tested that second thing yet. now ive heard that this problem can be fixed with surgery (either gettin circumsized or just gettin snipped a lil if u wanna stay uncut).
now my problem is, i dont know how to bring this subject up with my parents cuz the reason i know my member aint normal is from watchin porns. (LOL) and my parents are pretty religious (i once got caught watchin porn and got a bible talk over it) and would freak if they knew i found out about it.
so i was wondering, if yall could give some ideas on what to tell them about this "situation" of mine.
serious answers guys, no jokes plz.

Re: Serious question time...
you ask a good question, but my first concern here is your age. you are talking like a teenager living at home with your parents, but your age in your profile says you are 24. Please state your real age, otherwise we won't help you. legal reasons. thanks

Re: Serious question time...
Well, I'm 19 and I sort of have the same problem. I dont THINK my parents would care, but its still a very strange subject. Is it like a major thing to have done? Or could it be done w/o too much pain and medicine lol?

Re: Serious question time...
Sourced from the net.
Most infants are born with a foreskin that does not retract. This is normal!
"True" phimosis—better termed "preputial stenosis," because "phimosis" has so many different definitions it now is devoid of any useful meaning—occurs in less than 2% of intact males. The incidence of preputial stenosis in circumcised men is actually similar.
Of these 2%, 85–95% will respond to topical steroids. Of those who fail this, at least 75% will respond to stretching under local anesthesia, either manually or with a balloon. The arithmetic is simple: At the very most 7 boys in 10,000 may need surgery for preputial stenosis. No wonder the Canadian Paediatric Society calls circumcision an "obsolete" procedure!
There are several alternatives to radical circumcision which preserve the function of the prepuce and result in less morbidity (pain, bleeding, complications). The best article to check out is the 1994 piece by Cuckow et al. After all, why would you want to lose all of those Meissner corpuscles, the same nerve complexes which provide fine touch to the fingertips?
Note that manual stimulation, friction etc from rubbing against clothing and so on can increase the contracture..ie a bit like scar tissue shortening and being irritated hence the use of hydrocortisone creams etc to break the cycle. I doubt any caring parent would want that to continue if you were uncomfortable......hey...at least one of them has one of their own

Re: Serious question time...
actually, something that can be done is with a lazer believe it or not. depending on how bad it is, but they can do it with a lazer in about 25 mins, and then some swelling, and after a few weeks the scabs would come off, and you'd be normal. I think its a fairly new thing though

Re: Serious question time...
As far as telling your parents how you know about this condition, do you have a gym where you shower with other guys and say you saw it there? Have a family doctor you can consult with? That would be a good angle for the disease worry.
