MLB Team to Beat?
Just wanted to get your opinions on who you think the Team to beat this year?
Why do we have a salary cap in every other sport but this one? Hell the Yankees just keep buying whoever they want pretty soon its gonna be the MLB against the Yankees!

Re: MLB Team to Beat?
More then likely, it is the Yankees. But it is always interesting to see who will give them a run.
Go ROckies!!!! (yeah, maybe .500?)

Re: MLB Team to Beat?
Yankess....bleh.
Even though they keep spending money they aren't winning rings. But like every year, they are the team to beat.
But I'm going out on a limb and go with my M's. Picking up Beltre, Sexton and Pokey Reese was huge. Plus look for Bucky Jacobson, Jeremy Reed, and Miquel Olivio to have good years.

Re: MLB Team to Beat?
I hate to say it but I really think the Yanks are gonna be the team, hell there pitching staff payroll is more than most major league teams entire staff.
My Reds might make a run but I dont think they will be the team to beat by any means, although they are spending some cash this year?
