Nightclub and Bar Scene Statistics

An Internet survey, in which men and women responded from the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia reveals some interesting statistics.

Do you know . . .

- 40% of male nightclub patrons, ages 18 to 50, have had a serious relationship with a woman they met in a nightclub or bar.

- 45% of female nightclub patrons, ages 18 to 50, have had a serious relationship with a man they met in a nightclub or bar.

- Nearly 55% of the men between the ages of 40 and 50 have had a serious relationship with a woman they met in a nightclub or bar.

- Nearly 70% of the women between the ages of 40 and 50 have had a serious relationship with a man they met in a nightclub or bar.

- 55% of women expect men to be confident enough to approach them, but the other 45% say they have no problem approaching a man if they are interested in him.

- 55% of women will give a man their telephone number - if they are interested in him.

- 70% of women have intentionally given out the wrong telephone number.

- Women between the ages of 18-21 and 26-29 outnumber men in the age groups. Men between the ages of 30-50 outnumber women in the same age group.

- More married and divorced women go to clubs than married and divorced men.

- More women have a favorite club; more men prefer to visit different clubs.

- Men who go to clubs on both Fridays and Saturdays outnumber women who go on both nights.

- Women who go to clubs on either Friday or Saturday outnumber men who go on one night but not the other. More women go out on Saturdays than they do Fridays.

- Beer is the drink of choice for 39% of the men who have responded to the survey. Beer is the drink of choice for 61% of the men who have not had a serious relationship with a woman they met in club or bar.


WHAT DO THE STATISTICS MEAN?

* Women will take the initiative if a man interests them, but he must give women something to see other than the fact that he's horny, drunk, or both.

* Older married or divorced men tend to have a higher success rate with younger married or divorced women.

* Older women are more interested in meeting a man with whom they can have a relationship than younger women are.

* A man's chances of meeting women are better if he becomes a regular at one club as opposed to club hopping.

* Saturday's are better nights to meet women than Friday nights, especially if you are a regular.

* Women are not as attracted to men who drink beer as they are those who drink cocktails.

Very interesting post. I learned long ago that women under the influence will say things they don't mean, and not tell you the truth. You meet up with them later and learn about the excess baggage they carry. Women will say the same thing about men they meet at bars.

f you are looking to score, go. If you want a long term relationship, consider other outlets for meeting the opposite sex.
