Superbowl
It's getting close! What are your predictions for the 2004-05 season? Obviously, Pittsburgh and Philly would be the choices if you're looking at current record, but who do you think has the drive this time? Buffalo's been on a roll, but Pitt has a 13 game winning streak... However, they're cutting it closer and closer. I think I'll have to go with Pitt, with Buffalo as a good chance. NFC, I'm sticking with Philly for sure. NFC's not so hot this season, but the Eagles are.

Re: Superbowl
Even without T.O., the Eagles are a better team than they were last year. And like Jimi said...the NFC pretty much blows.
As for the AFC...yikes. The Bills are on a roll. So they are tuff. But is Drew the guy you want in the big game?? Now Pitt. Hmmmm, Roth is to young and inexperienced to make it to the Superbowl. Sorry. San Diego is hot. And with a OT loss to Indy it proved that the bolts can hang.
But come on...N.E. IS the defending champs AND have a back named Dillon. This is what they were missing last year and they still won. I hate em, I dispise em...but they have been there before and they will probably will be there again.
But Philly still wins 30-24

Re: Superbowl
The Steelers are on a roll, but I think the injuries will derail'em. Even with T.O. out I don't see the Pats beating the Eagles in the Superbowl. The Dolphins showed the whole league the Pats weakness. Look to see everybody try what the Fins did.

Re: Superbowl
Too bad the AFC cant have two teams this year. There are so many teams that are great to watch: Chargers, Steelers, Pats, Buffalo, Indy.
Sorry kornut, but a T.O.-less Philly will not cut it this year. I know that one player is not supposed to matter, but he was the player that everyone was counting on to take that team over the hump. They will blow it again in the NFC championship to the Carolina Panthers, who will derail the Steelers in the Super Bowl.......Just kidding.

I think people are forgetting a couple things about the Eagles.
1. Even without T.O. they are a better offense than they were last year. (Remember, Westbrook was out for the playoffs last year) Add 125 all purpose yards to our offense this year per game via Westbrook.
2. Philly has a better defense than a year ago also. They are leading the league with fewest points allowed.

Re: Superbowl
I think the superbowl will happen in the AFC title game really.. and I think its gonna be Pitt vs. NE Of those teams i dont know who will win but i think experience will come into play and NE will move on.. So my guess is NE vs GB! =) And GB will win!

What do you expect to happen when they played all thier bench warmers!!
McNabb didn't take a snap, Westbrook didn't run and half of thier PRO BOWL defense didn't even hit the field. Did you even watch??
Indy lost today too....why..thier starters sat. It happens every year in week 17. Rest em, don't risk hurting em.

Didn't Philly rest last week? And what about next week?? They don't play then either. You actually think they're going to make a run at the Super Bowl after taking three weeks off to rest? I'm not trying to bring you down homey, I'm just being realistic. They do NOT look anything like a Super Bowl team at this point. Let's be honest. You want to go into the playoffs on a roll. They ain't rollin' s**t at this point. Only two teams in history have ever made it to the Super Bowl after losing their last two regular season games, and only one has ever won it.
They will be lucky to win the divisional game. If I'm wrong, you can say "I told ya' so."

Re: Superbowl
I'm not saying im not nervous....the Green Birds have dissapointed me a long, lllooonnnnggg time. But I'm optimistic. As I said before, we are still a better team than we were last year even without T.O.
And as far as the rest....we will probably be playing STL in our first playoff game. If we can keep it close for the first half, get our momentum back then we should be okay.
This is football. My boys didn't forget how to play after a few weeks off.
