Why is it that every crackhead I see busted on COPS uses a glass tube as a pipe? I have never smoked crack before and don't really plan to in the near future, but when I'm 80-who knows. Why the hell not? But thats another thread.
I used to smoke alot of weed and always used a bong or one of those blown-glass pipes. I always assumed that when pot (aka "The Gateway Drug") drove me to smoking crack, a water bong would be the best way to take hits. Is there something about crack that makes smokable only from streight glass pipes? Does crack cause people to just copy what they see on TV? Or is it that crackheads only shop at the bad quickiemarts ( you know the ones I'm talking about. They no-name pornos behind the counter & sell little roses convienently packed in clear glass tubes )
I knew people who would grind up crack rocks & mix it into joints. Where they just wasting good crack?

Haha, it has to be glass cuz when crack is smoked, it turns into liquid and then evaporates (happens really quickly) and thats what you get high off. No other material can heat up quickly and transfer it onto the drug better than glass, pyrex to be exact. Most crack heads also use metal pipes with brillo pad stufft in to slow it down and keep them from swallowing their on rocks...not a good thing. Mising crack or regular coke with the weed are called Primos or P-dogs where I'm from. Nice good buzz, high and zoned out...good if you are the solitary stoner like myself.

Stick to one drug tho, its better that way.

Glass is the best tool for smoking because it doesnt melt nor does it degrade quickly. If you smoke with aluminum or plastic, particles from the heated instrument will enter your lungs, which is not a good thing at all. Especially aluminum, some reports say that lots of aluminum consumption leads to alzheimers.

I've seen crackheads use aluminum foil and plastic pens as well. They don't fork over the cash for a cool looking bowl as a pot smoker would. It's whatever is convenient at the time. A choir boy brillo pad is a must.

Check out a crackheads fingertips...will show scarring from getting burned so many times.

Damn a crackhead with alzheimers-- what a f*cked up individual. I dont think the thought of getting alzheimers has ever crossed a crackhead's mind when deciding which pipe to smoke from.

crack pipes are always glass because indeed they need to transfer heat quickly. The glass is thin, and the pipes just fyi are cheap and they break all the time.

also, those tiny glass tubes are easy to buy. you walk into a gas station, buy one of those dame rose in a tube things, break the end off, pull out the rose and you're set. easily obtained, costs a dollar. I have never seen anyone buy one of those for a woman, unless she needed a pipe.

Partied with a stripper one night, and she decided to smoke a rock out of a metal
pipe....think it was bronze or brass....her wind pipe collapsed, and had to take her
in to the hospital.....some kind of chemical reaction.....they had to do a treac....
