Re: best MMORPG
i like anime based ones, like Ragnarok Online etc. but then again they dont really have the RPG element.

Re: best MMORPG
WoW is definitely my favourite...yet Ragnarok online was pretty awesome too. Runescape sucks a whole lot, and Conquer online is not only excessively repetitive, the game world is way too small. So, WoW it is.

Re: best MMORPG
World of Warcraft...Spent so much time playing it and most of the time its no more than 2 hours at a time and yet im making progress at a good speed. If you dont have a lot of time, WOW is it. Or even if you do, you'll spend hours upon hours in the same zone finding new quests. I'd recommend the PvP servers though. Just because when you get higher, you gotta watch your back for the other side. It's great.

Re: best MMORPG
Skytng, your the first person outside of the Knight Online forum I've seen mention that game. It's fun and easy to play, and being free now, it's something to just mess around on when your bored. I'm one of those hooked on WoW tho, I like the cartoonish feel to the game, and it helps that it's fun. Tried EQ2 in beta, didn't like the over realistic feel it had. Being a retired EQ player of 6 years, I think I just needed to get away from Sony.

Re: best MMORPG
i loved daoc, and all the expansions. eq was also great. the most unique mmorpg i have found is neocron. i didn't care for galaxies too much and wow is so so. ao i thought was quite nice but i got ganked way too much. city of heros was cool but it should have been released along side of city of villians, wich is due out soon. i have also played a few others but they weren't good 'nuff to remember the names.

Re: best MMORPG
World of Warcraft is my absolute favorite one. I've been playing all the way through the beta and it's become an addiction

Re: best MMORPG
I don't personally play these. But I do have a good friend that does. His fav is WoW. I've watched him play and I have to say the game looks amazing. If I had a better video card I'd probably go with World Of Warcraft.

Re: best MMORPG
I played EQ for years, and am still a big fan, but unfortunately my life and career have sped up to the point that I just don't have the time. I recently picked up EQ2 for a while, and had a blast with it, but once again found out that I couldn't just create the spare time that doesn't exist.
With all the positive feedback, I am very curious about WoW and am tempted to give it a try, but then that has to be balanced against all the good friends I have waiting on EQ. Tough decisions .....

Re: best MMORPG
surprised to see that no one is playing SWG. or - Star Wars Galaxies.
Since Im a fan.. its a natural progression for me to play this game.. the only online game Ive ever played. Im hooked. Still not a Jedi. but very close.
