Help with DVD-burning

click on one of our sponsors! OR REMOVE ADS
I'm trying to copy Law & Order DVD's as a surprise for my friend b/c its her favorite show. I have a dvd-rom and burner so there's no problem there. HOwerver, does anyone know of a program besides nero where I can copy the DVD despite the fact it is copy-protected? Any suggestions and your help will be much appreciated, thank you.

DVDShrink http://www.dvdshrink.org/
It's free and easy to use. Plus you can cut out parts you don't need like; sub-titles, extra audio langauges, special features and so on....very useful if the original is dual-layer and your DVD-Rs aren't.

Re: Help with DVD-burning

or, you could use dvd decrypter if they are less than 4.6 gb

http://www.dvddecrypter.com/

I rip and resize movies with dvdshring, but then I copy and burn with dvd decrypter.

Re: Help with DVD-burning

I tried DVD Shrink and DVD Decryptor today. Both work well. With my slowass 533mhz pc, I haveto reboot before I rip one, but other than that, it works fine.

Re: Help with DVD-burning

Did you try restarting?
If that works, then I have a feeling you'll be doing the same thing if you run Anydvd as well.
You be able to get away with adding on some more ram if you're able.

It's time to upgrade, bud.

No kidding, it's still giving me fits. Was able to copy DVD to hard drive files, but when I tried to convert to an ISO file, it freezes. Gonna try Anydvd and CloneDVD and see what happens. Maybe soon, I'm hoping, by april or so, I can get a new pc.
