pc shuts off
my computer shuts off for no reason at all, even if im not on it. does anyone know why??

Does it come up with a message that says it's going to shut down in 45 seconds? If it is, that's a worm that came out a year and a half ago. Any major anti virus should take care of it.
If that's not the case, your case is probably heating up. Try getting more fans or lower your CPU speed.

Yeah, remove the side of your case and make sure the fan is spinning up.
There are a lot of free anti-virus programs or you could pay for one. Panda Platinum is a great program and has an integrated firewall. I highly recommend it.

If your fan is going fine, you're not getting a message, and the computer doesn't lock up first... check your power supply. 2/3 of my friends that have asked me what is wrong with their systems have had bad power supplies or ones that were going bad on a slow road to hell.
