Panda Platinum is what I use and recommend. It has an integrated firewall and updates daily for the best protection. It scans incoming email messages and has never failed me.

Used to use AVG free edition, and when I ried Kaspersky it found a virus. Have been using it ever since. They update so often, really seems like overkill to possibly schedule an update every 3 hours
