Despite the insufferable lag in its current state, the game still rocks. I'm on Khadgar Realm, account Insaniteus if anyone wants to add me. As a note, my brother and I share the account, he's Demoslasher, so if that's the character in play expect him not to know who the hell you are.

UPDATE: Because Khadgar is shit and will be down several days, and started lagging to hell near the end there, we moved to Gilinus (sp).

Current characters:
Insaniteus: Lvl 6 NE Druid.
Demoslasher: Lvl 8 Orc Warrior.

They are still having big time lag issue, that sucks. I spent time in closed beta and open beta complaining about the lag. Going to buy the game today.

Dude im loving this game. I got in on the first stress test, and played in the open beta. Did a warlock both times but as gnome. Now im doing it from the undead p.o.v. and i can still honestly say even though i know the skills up to lvl 20, im still having a frickin blast. Im up to lvl 18 now, and im on the Frostwolf Realm. Go go PAC/MTN time servers being brought down lol.

I heard you have to pay a monthly fee for the connection service. Is this true? If so, there is no way I am going to buy this game. I have been a Warcraft fan for a long time, but I think that is a terrible way to run a company. If I buy the game, I should be able to play it. period.

Yes you are paying a fee to play the game online, but this not a battle net server. The fee is so that Blizzard can keep up maintenece on the the 35 or so server clusters that are running the game.

I'm so addicted to this game now, I wish it would have come out a few weeks later until after finals. I'm Patito on the Zul'jin east coast server. Right now, a level 18 Troll Shaman, been working on Leatherworking too, I'm at 125 currently. If anyone needs some leather armor on Zul'jin, let me know.

Well so far the Cenarian Circle RP server has not had lag problems that I know of . I love this game although I have a night elf that I have barely played since I played a night elf duing closed beta and open beta, kinda of dont want to go through all those quest for the third time.

Yep, exactly why I didn't really get into one class or race during the open beta. I tried out most of them and got each up to around level 10, played a Tauren Hunter up the highest even though I knew I wanted to play a Troll Shaman already. I didn't want to have to redo everything I already did.
