I just suggested the shroom forum so maybe you would get a clue.

If you dont think that Ive eaten shrooms more times than most people from my early posts in this thread then I dont really know what to tell ya. I know more about shrooms than 99.99999% of the population...and im not just talking about the experiences from them. I havent reread this thread but I dont even think that you knew what a closed eye visual was. That is an easy way to tell the people who have eaten them for fun from the people who have eaten then to know whats possible to experience with them. I only post at this site to open some peoples minds.

You say to eat them for the first time...I say to eat them by yourself or with your best friend with the intention of not to party, but to open your mind. Ill even tell you the easist way to begin seeing full hallucinations. Start by laying on the floor with no sounds except for maybe some music in the background. Begin to clear your mind. At this point in time you can either think of nothing or think of a object that you want to see. The images will come to you one way or another. They will usually look like cartoon images from my experience but they will get more intricate/real the more you practice. Once you get these images try to slowly open your eyes while paying attention to them. If they fade then close your eyes and another image shoudl come back. With some practice you should be able to carry the visualy from your closed eyes to your visual environment. Once you have experienced that mindframe it will be easier for you to get good hallucinations from an open eye perspective. This is the easiest way to get full blown hallucinations from a low dose. Id bet that once you start experienceing the closed eye visuals that you wont even care enough about the open eye visuals to try and get them. lol. They really are that good/crazy.

Anytime someone takes shrooms they should always make some time for themselves to go alone in a bedroom and to see where the mind takes them. Its easy to label me as a "little kid" who doesnt know what they are talking about because you have bought into the people who say that hallucinations are not possible. That is the mindframe that you take into the psychadellic experience. Please just dont skim over what I have said. I hope that you have these thoughts with you the next time you eat shrooms. Then maybe you could actually "live it" and come back to me with a story of "how fun it was" and that it "wasnt what you expected".

Jimi, you are about the only other person on this site that has a somewhat deeper understanding of the drug culture than most. I guarantee that if you take my advice then you would be with me on this.

Also note that all of my posts on this site in the last year have been in this forum only. Read through my posts and you would probably get the sense that I know what I am talking about when it comes to inebriating agents. Im not just some "kid" that "reads shit" online.

Im also the type of person to give people the benefit of the doubt. I dont go around insulting people who dont agree with me...id just let them be unless I want to have a civil debate. Insultation is your defense mechanism for any disagreement we have. You post here much more than me, but be a human being and not just a common internet flamer/know-it-all. Decent human beings are a rare commodity online....but your online persona translates to the type of person you are in real life. Maybe you should think about that too.

I know I'm not the only one who would enjoy this thread a lot more without Jimi's endless snide remarks.... My guess is that you take that same negativity and closemindedness with you on your trips. That is most likely why you've never experienced strong visuals. From my experiences, different people react to chemicals in different ways, just like allergens. Of the many times I've hung out with that Fun-Guy, I've only gotten the acid type visuals twice, but they were tons of fun. I think the type of people that freak out at scary movies are more likely to have the heavy visual experiences. The more creative, open-minded, and imaginative people are going to see and feel much much more then someone who has pre-planned the whole experience in their head. Jimi, it sounds like you've never allowed your mind to wander enough to enjoy the full spectrum of what schrooms have to offer.

On another note, has anyone here ever grown them at home? My question is about purchasing spores online. Is it safe to do? From what I've read the spores are not illegal, but I'm worried I'll be put on some sort of black list if I order them that way. Any help would be apreciated.

no the best feeling every is rolling on E. but shrooms are a much better high then e you get a light euphoria and then you just trip bawls for like 2-4 hours its awsome!

Maybe you're just one of the typical newbie morons who acts like he knows what he's talking about, but doesn't actually read what I've written. People don't see full-on visuals like fucking elves riding around on tricycles blah blah blah. No dragons come out of the walls, no chandeliers turn into eagles, no telephones turn into magic unicorns with hot young nympho elves riding them. It just doesn't happen, I don't care how hard you try to "let your mind go".

As far as the spores, no. they're not illegal.

You guys are right about the visuals, i've never seen any like demons flying or anything. But when i do them i lose depth perception it seems and everything it bigger than it looks and I have a hard time understanding speech at times,

shrooms are made to take when you just chilling with a bunch of friends to have a good time.

Play some Phish or Floyd, smoke some bowls, drink some beer and play some games.

Shrooms are natures candy IMO

when i did them, i didnt really hallucinate at all, but i was super giddy and laughy for about a period of half an hour. also it was a full moon and outside it looked like the sky would kind of be comming closer and closer to me. i didnt really see or feel anything too crazy but all an all they were alright. i want to do them again and see if i can hallucinate a little sincei know what to expect now.

I had some shrooms from Amsterdam as well, in fact we were still high on them sitting at Schipol airport. Did have some hallucinations on them though, like patterns moving across my pants. Not hectic just mild (you buy the shrooms there in 4 levels from beginner to advanced, we mixed the 1st and 3rd level ones and was chomping on some cannabis lollies the whole time)

In South Africa we are lucky as we got some of the best weed here (Durban Poison) as as well some really good shrooms, only thing is the good shrooms arent available all year round unless you grow them in controlled environment.
