Has anyone ever tripped on shrooms before

i had an 8th of gold caps yesterday and i tripped sooooo hard. Its like the best feeling ever

i totally thought i saw cops riding unicycles with sirens on their head

Shrooms, are my number one favorite drug. I limit myself though, cause I know i'd get hooked. I have friends who totally burned out on em. Very sad. Definitely the best feeling ever though.

i have tripped twice on shrooms. without a doubt the coolest drug. You have to be carefull about your surroundings though. Ive had some friends that got totally freaked out while tripping. You need to be in a comfortable place, like with good friends you can trust

We do the fungus like once every 6 months. Thats enough time for me to forget how I feel like shit for a week afterwords. But yea, great occasional drug, as with an psycdelic not really a party drug....

You thought you saw cops riding unicycles? I've done shrooms many, many times.... and I've yet to have a visual strong enough to alter my perception of actual events. I've seen halos, increased sensetivity to any sense, and an overall feeling of complete ambience.... but I've NEVER seen dragons, clowns, cops, demons, dinosaurs, or anything else of that nature. I you saw anything like that.... I would kick the guy's ass who sold them to you due to the drugs that were added to the mushrooms you ate. Psilocybin molecules basically mimic MDMA, which typically ups the amount of seritonin in your brain. Although it speeds up synapse, you don't get full-blown hallucinations.

One time on a road trip I remember stairing out the window of the car at night and thinking that the Semi-trucks with all the lights on were like big chinese dragons. The shrooms I was on were pretty good shit/not laced.

"Like" big Chinese Dragons. Did you actually think they were after you, or that they WERE chinese dragons? I mean, c'mon, I don't care how high I was on anything... altered perception has never caused me to think that fantasy was fiction.... as far as natural drugs.

Never said they were after me. They just looked like big chinese dragons. You can't see that, with all of the lights on the trucks, dilated eyes, pitch dark outside? I knew they weren't dragons but they looked like them.

No, I can see how you would have associated the two, I was just saying... like the guy who said he saw cops on unicycles with sirens on their heads... kinda unbelievable, but associating rigs with somethign more exotic is possible. Like I said, shrooms heighten perception and sensetivity. They don't make you actually see things that aren't there. Someone's thinking of a bad schizophrenia movie.

Maybe I've done some bad shrooms or just have been in horrible situations when I was on them (one time I did some when there was a large number of people around)... but I really havn't had a whole lot of fun when compared to how much they bothered me at some points.

I'd have to agree with the above poster.. I've never actually seen anything that didn't exist, just have seen things that exist much differently like a painting of a horse running now looking "almost" like it was now animated. Or a plant with no leaves looking like it was squirming around like its branches were tenticles.

That was the "good" stuff... the bad was everytime my own reflection in the mirror looked somewhat scary or suspicious when I was at my highest. Also thinking everyone around me was whispering stuff about me to the point I had to go relax in the back of my car to get away from them.

I know people who've really enjoyed them though, so I think I will give them another go, just with fewer people around.

Yeah, do it with few people, and under good circumstances. It's never good to do anything around people you don't know, too many people, etc.

A definite must is first (if you're squeamish), eat the caps in something to cover both the taste and the texture. Second, surroundings is key; my best friend had a seizure the first time he ate them (at WSP New Years 2002) because of the untamed atmosphere. Third, don't expect too much in the way of visual hallucination to happen, even on large amounts. Psycilocybin doesn't work the way LSD or PCP does, it merely spikes the brain's serotonin levels, making your senses heightened, but not causing "full-blown" hallucinations. Oh yeah, if you don't want to feel like shit for about two days afterwards, go to GNC or other nutrition centers and get a bottle of 5 HTP pills. They boost serotonin levels back to normal (so all you roll-fiends out there, get back on top of things). "Big gulps, huh? Well, see ya later...."-who can tell me what movie this is from?
