making up for missing post: do you consider euthanasia morally right or morally wrong and why? in case that there is no instructions left, who should take that decisions? the government or the family? would you do it for a loved one?

Re: euthanasia....
For everyone, like me, who had no idea what that word meant, I looked it up: Mercy killing.
In a no-hope suffering scenario, it's morally right if the victim chooses it. It's selfish to make a loved one exist in total agony just so you can spend more time with them.

Re: euthanasia....
I could never do it help someone die, but if one is suffering from an illness that is obviously going to kill them anyway... it might as well be done.

Re: euthanasia....
The government should have no say in any case of euthanasia. It should be just like being an organ donor. The person should have the say in it, or their wife/husband or family if the person is unable to. If the government wants to control or limit euthanasia, they should make it an option on your driver's liscence/ ID like being an organ donor. I personally would want to be put down if I'm ever in the situation. But this is just my opinion.

Re: euthanasia....
That is a hard subject. If you watched a family member suffer from cancer and ask you to help them you may feel that it is okay.

Re: euthanasia....
When death is inevitable and a person is in misery, then whats the point of dragging out there life for as long as you can? I believe it should be totally left up to the person and no one else should have an opinion in it.

Re: euthanasia....
i think what we do with our life is our own choice.....if we choose to end it tomorrow, i dont think anyone should have a say in that...
i think its kinda strange that everyone here agrees that it should be allowed, but you here of people protesting it all the time
