making up for missing post: do you consider euthanasia morally right or morally wrong and why? in case that there is no instructions left, who should take that decisions? the government or the family? would you do it for a loved one?

For everyone, like me, who had no idea what that word meant, I looked it up: Mercy killing. In a no-hope suffering scenario, it's morally right if the victim chooses it. It should be just like being an organ donor. The person should have the say in it, or their wife/husband or family if the person is unable to. If the government wants to control or limit euthanasia, they should make it an option on your driver's liscence/ ID like being an organ donor. I personally would want to be put down if I'm ever in the situation. But this is just my opinion. -VIVIX

I believe it should be totally left up to the person and no one else should have an opinion in it.
