If you could go back in time to see one sporting event in person......
If you could go back in time to see one sporting event in person, which would you choose?
There are so many to choose but being a die hard Seattle Mariner fan I'd have to say the 1995 ALCS between the M's and the Yankess when my hero Edgar Martinez hit a two run double scoring Junior from first to beat NY. I cried at home watching on t.v., cant imagine what i'd do if I was there in person.
So how about you guys?
Also lets try and get more chatter here in the sports and gambling threads. This use to be somewhat of a active place. I miss it. :wiggle:

1993 World Series when Carter his the game winning home run. I was there when the Jays won in Atlanta and would have loved to be there for the game in 93.

My dad has been a season ticket holder since Dodger stadium opened in 1962. He is an early exiter.
He watched Gibson's homer from his portable TV in the parking lot. He should have stayed, no one left!
LOL at you pops, you are an idiot!
I guess I would like to see Babe Ruth's "called shot" against the Cubs in the world series. Did he, or didn't he?

Last year's Cubs game when Steve Bartman "caught" that ball. I just want to sit behind him and punch him out cold.

Though it was a boner move by him, how many people would of gone for the ball too?? I would. Anyhow, they still had two innings left in the game so it was the Cubs fault they lost not Steve's.
