Re: Rednecks rejoice
If you want to compair voters then answer why 47% of the voters that voted for Kerry were really just voting against Bush. Kerry never won anyone over with his message, you just ended up with people voting against Bush because they didn't like him and never could answer why they liked Kerry. Heck I have 2 of them that work for me. So think about this if 50 million people voted for Kerry and 47% were really just voting against Bush that means only 23.5 million really followed his vision.
One more thing. Insanitus, if your saying Home Land Security is joke (dam comment) well I would agree.

And yeah, I'm well aware of the fact that most who voted Kerry voted against Bush lol. The reasons for this are that Kerry ran a shitty campaign so nobody really knew much about him until near the end, and that Bush is an amazingly polarizing president and you either love what he does or hates it, there's nearly no middle ground. At least those people know which Bush policies they hate, though, which is enough in politics really.
Before this election I would've bet that Bush would've swung more moderates and independants because 90% of Kerry's campaigning was "anyone but Bush", but surprisingly Kerry definitivly took more votes in both catagories. Bush just got MONSTER support from the conservative base, was probably 2 conservatives for every 1 liberal on Nov 2nd.

Re: Rednecks rejoice
47% voted for Kerry because he wasn't Bush? And where did you get that little gem of an idea?

Re: Rednecks rejoice
I believe the 47% info was what came out after the election. It was just a point Jimi so don't freak out.

Sure, I was just wondering where you actually got the information. Seems like a biased source. I'm not freaking out.

Alabama tried to redefine the value of Pi to 3. The Mississippi state legislature removed fractions and decimal points from the mathematics curriculum of public secondary schools.

Re: Rednecks rejoice
Plus, as far as I'm concerned, having Pi's numbers go on for close to infinity, as far as I know, is more biblical prophecy than rounding Pi to 3.
But, going into that would support some people.... (you know who you are).... in their conclusion that I'm psycho!

I guess it maybe has to do with the holy trinity?
One thing I don't claim to be is an authority on the Good Book.

On another forum that I lurk on a little, someone was posting alot of stuff from snopes to back up their stupid arguments.
One guy just let him go and go and then posted that link.
The first guy hasn't been back since.
