Ken Jennings of Salt Lake City broke the quiz-show money record Wednesday when he won $45,099, bringing his total to $2,197,000. Kevin Olmstead previously held the record of $2,180,000 set in 2001 on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Can anyone dethrone this Jeopardy king??

I caught jeopardy the other night at a friends house and was surprised he was still on because months ago i saw a report saying they finished filming all the eps and Jeopardy would neither confirm nor deny he was booted and/or when it happened. I told my friend i thought he had lost and he got all up in it telling me NO! He's still there...i decided not to debate my finer knowledge of all things TV/Celeb and just dropped it...I hate my friends. P.S. and i dislike Ken..he has no real personality, he's not great to look at, he doesn't take risks with his bets..There's nothing to root for, its just watching a nerdy white boy answer all the questions correctly....wow! how fun!
