WoW open beta

click on one of our sponsors! OR REMOVE ADS
I'm sure most people who care already know, but the World of Warcraft open beta stress test sign-ups opened Monday. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com

Although, you pretty much have to sign up with FilePlanet to download it. Post here if you're in it, and what race/class/server you play. I'm still downloading mine, but I'll post my info once I'm in.

Re: WoW open beta

Yes you to subscribe to fileplanet for a time.

I am currently a 4/5 (can't remember) NE Druid. Gonna start a NE Hunter when talents come out. Plus quite a few other class/race combos. I actually like being a healer, so I may take up that role. I do, however, miss my hunter from stress, as bugged and crazy as they were than. Leveling all to 10 before the end of beta and deciding on my final main and alt after that. Right now Hunter and Druid are equal, and I'm in love with Shamans. But my guild (www.viridianalliance.com) is alliance, so I need a class/race combo for that as my main. Tar Shaman will most likely be my alt.

Oh and I'm on realm 9(pvp)

Re: WoW open beta

Yeah, I love my shaman so far. I'm going to stop playing him because I think that's what I'll play after beta and don't want to do everything over. I'm switching over to realm 14, have several friends there. I'm going to be playing pvp for sure once it's released.

Re: WoW open beta

Well I really wanna play, but I can wait till beta is over if I have to fork over money. I am currently subscribed to AC2 which I really dont play anymore, is it really worth the subscription to fileplanet? When is it being released anyways?

Re: WoW open beta

November 8th it's released where you don't have to subscribe to FilePlanet, and hits the shelves on the 23rd.

Re: WoW open beta

Not sure what you're asking... the Nov 8th release is a free open beta. It's to get people to try out the game before it's released in it's final stage. It helps test out their servers to make sure they can handle all the people connecting at once, and work out any final bugs. Once it's released for retail, all characters created before that in the beta stages will be deleted and everyone will get a clean start. They'll probably be adding in a few extra features once it's released for retail too.
