You probably have your voice back at this point, it was pretty quiet @ Busch on Tuesday. It looks like this is the Sox's year, barring a miraculous comeback by your "team".

Re: Hey Lefty...

Awww...come om Adman....dont kick the guy while he's down. I do feel bad for you Lefty(even though I am going for Boston). I know all about let downs. My favorite team in baseball is the Mariners, they let me down 99 times this season!! Still, the season isnt over....we are talking about BeanTown.

I was there. It was painful. How the Hell does a team go from looking like the '75 Reds to the '62 Mets in a manner of days?

I'm crushed. A friend of mine who came in for the game put things in perspective after the contest was in the books.

"After the disappointment's gone, you can look back and say you saw a possible Hall of Famer (Pedro) pitch the most important game of his life."

I just hope the Series goes back to Boston. No celebration in our house please. Although, I suspect this will be a sweep. You can see it in the faces of our guys--everyone but Albert, that is.

Damn.

Re: Hey Lefty...

I know, I know....I should be more compassionate...I was just kind of ribbing you a little bit because you've been hyping these guys ALL YEAR LONG. It just goes to show...any team can get hot at the right time and take a championship from a team that had a great regular season. Hey, don't be too depressed....I'm a Dodger fan, we were just happy to be there.
