Should Ricky Willaims be reinstated??

Williams has gone to the NFL to ask to be reinstated. As all of you know he tested positive for weed agin not to mention he left his team with very little notice putting them in a bad spot.
I don't think that the Dolphins will take him back even if he is reinstated as I don't think they should. In my opnion the numbnuts should be denied back in the league but what do you think?

Re: Should Ricky Willaims be reinstated??

Smoking too much weed can make you do some pretty dumb s**t .... Ricky Williams is living proof. Hopefully the guy realizes he fucked up and the Dolphins can forgive and forget and give him a second chance. He should be made an example of, though. I think that if he is reinstated to the NFL, he should only have the option of playing out his contract with the Dolphins. He should NOT be able to become a free agent and go to another team. He should have to face the teammates he abandoned and make amends.

Re: Should Ricky Willaims be reinstated??

There is no way he gets reinstated this year. Look at Clarett, what kind of message would that send?

The difference is we are talking about the NFL, not NCAA. There is a big difference in the reasons they asked for reinstatment.

Re: Should Ricky Willaims be reinstated??

I don't think he should get reinstated this year...I just think that when he does get reinstated, he should have to play out the rest of his contract, whatever that may be, with the Dolphins. Plus, whenever he does come back, he'll have to serve his 4 game suspension for failing his last drug test.

I think he should be allowed back if he can stay clean for a year.

Re: Should Ricky Willaims be reinstated??

i think he should be forced to sit out the remainder of this year. Then he should be reinstated on the Dolphins roster. Then, as a Dolphin's fan, I hope they trade him for some draft picks so that they might be able to finally pick up reliable players.

Re: Should Ricky Willaims be reinstated??

Why would you want him back RidinLOW? He left his team high and dry. I dont know I got mixed feelings. I think he should be allowed back but not with Miami. They will look like biothes if they do......besides, they are looking good for the draft next year...ha!ha!
