hahaha those french idiots leaked it and now it's all over the internet. i played it last night. it kicks ass. i have to say, the sword battles are probably my favorite part, but everything is better. the vehicles all take damage now, in all modes. that's a big plus. there is no atv, and i don't know about peeking(never tried), but all the covenant vehicles have a sprint mode you can activate by holding the left trigger. needless to say, i know where i will be spending all my free time now.

yes it definitely kicks ass. The vehicles do take damage now, however the damage seems to be off. How many grenades does it take for a vehnicle to blow up anyway? Also the tank has a shield over the driver's head so you cannot snipe him directly at first.. Sniper fire is deflected off the armor, and no damage is taken. What you can do is hop on an enemy vehicle, and break the cover sheild off while he's still driving.. and drop a grenade in his lap and jump off. Also, after you break off the top hatch, you can snipe them.. That was one of the coolest things I've seen. Vehicles are more strategic now.

Got the limited edition on pre-order.

Considering getting Xbox Live now. Halo LAN games are awesome, I can't get enough of them. This is one of the few games I'd pay full price for instead of waiting a couple of months before it drops.

One tip:

Don't watch or read anything Halo 2 related, it'll only make it less of an experience for you to enjoy. The "Ultimate Gamer".... I think that's a pretty lame show. Guess the producers are pretty desperate for any type of hit show right now, cashing in on the Halo 2 craze.

Wow, just played it last night. Amazing, the story line is great too. Only thing I miss is being able to zoom in and shoot with the pistol.

the pistol was WAY too powerful in halo 1. That's why they changed it. When we play multiplayer, we play only with pistols, and we just snipe with them, and use them up close. It's a little ridiculous. I'm kinda glad they took the zoom away.

The swords are going to be the new pistols more or less. Come one.. what more could you want, run up to some one slash and then stick them with a nade. Greatness.
