I tracked down a transcript of the exchange referenced by the article. That's where I saw the
original quotes and found out how the column chopped up his words and deliberately placed them in an entirely different context.
I lost the link to the transcripts, but I'm in the process of trying to find it again I'll post it as soon as I can. In the meantime, here's a link to KRS-ONE's response to the article.

As a side note, when I was trying to re-locate the transcripts, I came across numerous versions of the original column and it's shocking to see how many "reputable" news sources have reprinted what was claimed in The New York Daily as solid fact.
Even worse are the ones who have taken it upon themselves to exaggerate the story further. Among some of the outlandish allegations I came across were:
- KRS has admitted having close ties to Al Qeida.
- KRS urged blacks to celebrate 9/11
- KRS calls for the death of all Americans.
