Love is taking the time to understand someone even if they're thinking or feelings differs from you. Love is about going out of your way for another person.

If you being with them is not making them happy, then yes not being together is something you would do. you won't like it, but you will do that, and who knows that special someone in your life may come back to you.....i am in this boat as we speak and it does suck bad....

Total and utter acceptance. That's what I think true love is. Flaws, inconsistencies, hypocracies, physical deficiencies...none of it matters when you really love somebody. Because you love them--accept them--you'd do anything for them.

Love, when it's not euphoric, tends to suck though. For some reason.
