Who deserves to win the NL MVP
Putting the top 10 worthy people out there. I dont think pitchers should be able to win the MVP, becasue the cy young is for the most valuable pitcher

went with beltre, b/c he was the sole star for a lackluster offense. he lead the dodgers to the playoff race.

Okay, I'm splitting hairs. The poll is worded "who will be the mvp?" That's easy, the scribes will vote in Bonds--and it's tough to argue with the choice. If it's up to me: Jim Edmonds.
The guy has torched the league offensively, but his defense puts him above all others. Edmonds' glove has saved games, stolen games and shifted momentum in so many wins it's unbelievable. When the Cards need a horse to ride, Edmonds steps up.
Just wait until October. This guy has always been nails in the post season.

I went with Beltre too simply because he contributed so much to a team that had no offense. I can't stand the Dodgers but I have to give him props!

I would say that Beltre deserves the MVP, but Bonds will get it because he is far and away the best offensive player in baseball. They should not even consider Bonds in the voting....the should just vote for runner-up. After Bonds, I think Beltre should get it because he led the league in HR's, 2nd or 3rd in BA, and 4th in RBI's....plus, he was solid at third base, committing the 3rd fewest errors at his position in the NL.
