And how, praytell, have you proven me wrong? In all your arrogance, you've forgotten that you haven't made any valid points.

You're right, what does my typo have to do with you proving your point? Are you reaching THAT far for some kind of grain of being correct?

Actually, the commander in Iraq said the term was his idea and took the blame for bush. Just a way for Bush to shovel blame someplace else in my opinion. Point is that Bush used the term, no matter if suggested by someone else or not, is he going to continue to shovel all responsiblity to all his advisors? And if so, then what does Bush do? Maybe people are right that he a puppet with strings if the above is true.

Re: What scares you about George Dubya?
A person who starts a fire: Arsonist (villian)
A person who puts out the fire: Firefighter (Hero)
A person who starts a war: Bush
A person who stops the war: ??????
I'm just saying that it's a lot easier to start something than to stop it.
And we often consider those who stop bad things (police, firefighters) to be Heroes.
while those who start bad/evil things are Villians.
I don't like the war, and I don't like Kerry. I think I'm voting for Jenna Jameson

Re: What scares you about George Dubya?
Well there's something. Whoppie lost her contract because she said something that she believed in. Linda Ronstadt was escorted out of a hotel in Vegas by security because while on stage, she said something positive about Michael Moore, and they felt that was degrading to our president. She was kicked out for voicing an opinion. A woman/mother of someone who died in Iraq was escorted out of a Bush speech for saying no. Bush has said, "If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator." Washington, DC 12/18/00. Looks like he's getting what he wanted.

Lorill, we attacked the government infrastructure. In doing this there were casulties, they were aired on every news network. No I do not thik we purposely bombed any targets that civilians were in, but it happened nonetheless. The claim is that they are 99% accurate, but I'm sure if you we were able o get a number or missiles fired and a number that killed nearby civilians or didnt exactly hit their target it would be way less accurate than 99%. In all the media coverage of innocent civilians who got the shit blown out of them, you think that is 99% accuracy?

Re: What scares you about George Dubya?
No, I don't think they are 99% accurate. Of course there were innocent civilians killed. That being said, we have come a long way since WWII when we really would drop bombs over entire cities. I was just contending Nibiru's claim that we just tried to annihilate the entire city of Baghdad without any regard for civilians. No one likes civilians casulties and I think that we took extreme care while, at the same time, trying to take care of our own troops. We probably could have bombed less, but that would likely mean more danger for our ground troops. I have a friend on the Iraq-Syria border who tells me that our military commanders won't let our troops properly defend themselves because of the emphasis put on Iraqi civilian safety. That is the kind of stuff you don't see in videos.

Re: What scares you about George Dubya?
The video doesn't lie. We didn't have any tropps there at the time... how were we trying to protect our troops from the bombing? Your friend must have a pussy commander. This video is plain to see. There are only facts here. You're trying to defend a video that we can watch at any time. Regardless, our troops weren't taken very good care of. They had very little food, little protection, and while the Republicans are running around blaming that on Kerry, Bush was sitting back paying 20 billion in Haliburtin, and other sums of money in saving oil rigs.

Re: What scares you about George Dubya?
Well, I am no military tactician but it seems to me the more bad guys you bomb before you send troops in, the fewer there are going to be to fight the troops, eh?
Pussy commander? No, that is the status quo for everyone there. We are trying to minimize collateral damage, especially civilian casulties.
I am not defending any video.
The facts of your video is that there was bombing going on in Iraq the first couple of days... a fact that NO ONE is disputing. I am disputing your ASSUMPTION (not fact... at least not a fact provided by this videa) that they were not strategic military targets.

Re: What scares you about George Dubya?
Funny, my friend just got back from Iraq, and he told me a different story about the "status quo". Just watch the video! It is FACT that Baghdad was assaulted heavily, and not just tacticly. That was a major portion of the city, and that was just a matter of a couple of minutes. Imagine what 2 days of that bombing did. The WHOLE city wasn't strategic.
