Re: Opera Browser

Yeah, I use it on my PC and like it a lot... but I like Firefox too and would recommend using that if you're looking for a free browser. I do have a registered version of Opera that I use because I love the mouse shortcuts.

Re: Opera Browser

Yeah i agree with patito... i've been using firefox for a couple days now, it doesn;t completely replace internet exporer yet though cuz some sites require IE, but its been running quite smooth and i really like how you can have multiple sites in one window under separate tabs instead of a bunch of different windows opened. plus, haven't gotten any pop-ups yet (keeping fingers crossed). easy download and install from download.com

Re: Opera Browser

I hate people who are zealous over their computing skills. I do website support for a large office supply company and we get numerous calls about our website not working with Opera. Please don't expect Opera to be the end all for browsers. IE is what most companies design their sites to work with. Just be aware of the signs that Opera isn't working properly with the page and then switch to IE.

People really get on the defensive when they are told they have to use IE. Microsoft is the suck, but the majority of the computing population uses their software, so go figure.
