My pick goes to Schilling who has lived up to expectations and the only pitcher to get 20 wins so far. Santana has been great for the Twins but doesn get as much media coverage. Mulder has fallen off a little before, and Pedro has been there done that.

So unless Schilling and Pedro cause them to split their votes and both fall back I say Schilling gets the the Cy Young over Santana by a slim margin.

I really hate these one time performers. Pedro is a joke. It'd have to be schilling out of that group.

One time performers??? Everyone has to have thier breakout year don't they? Lets face it...put Shilling back on the Diamondbacks and he doesn't have 20 wins. He plays for fucking Boston...Its not hard to be a winning pitching there.

no one can honestly think anyone besides santana should win this award. look where the twins are? two reasons santana and joe nathan, schilling is just a small part of bostons success and still santana's numbers are better. If you choose someone besides santana, I'd like to here your reasoning

I'd like to see Santana win, but I think Schilling will only because of how well known he is.

Gotta be Santana.

Even if he's a one season wonder, the Cy Young is only about one season. Any guy that can give up 5 earned runs over 7 starts down the stretch is incredible. The guy is just having one of those years.

I've gotta go with Santana also. I hate the yankees because of the way they buy their teams, and now Boston is no better. I'll be rooting for the Twins this postseason, I'd love to see a smaller-market franchise take the WS for a third year in a row.

You can't honestly believe that Santana is a one hit/season wonder. If you followed baseball at all last year you would have known that santana was one of the best set up guys in all of baseball. The kid's got talent and he will be pitching like a madman for a long time.
