I dated a girl for 3 and a half years in college, and after we graduated, I took a job in the same town because she was going to graduate school, and we wanted to be together. Well, one day, all of a sudden, she makes a comment about our relationship. She said we were "loosey goosey". I was like, "WTF??? We've been together 3 and a half years, there's nothing loose about our relationship." The next thing I know, she's talking about breaking up, and then we did. This girl was my whole life, and I didn't know how I was going to go on. Well, I ended up making some mistakes that took me years to fix. Don't do that. Believe me, it's not worth it.

Anyway, I eventually reached the point where when I look back, I'm sooooooooooo happy that we broke up. We were not right for each other at all, but we stayed together for a long time because of the whole security thing and not wanting to start over.

So believe me when I tell you that as sad as you may be right now, that's how happy you will be at some point down the rode.

Unfortunately my friend, the only thing that makes the pain go away is time, and wisdom. Two years seems like soooo much of your life right now, but you're still pretty young & you have many adventures ahead of you - good & bad - and as time goes by, two years will have less & less significance to you. As you grow away from this period in your life, rest assured, your feelings will heal and you will gain invaluable wisdom from the experience. That's why these situations are called "Life Lessons".

As juan said, you may have lost the battle, but don't lose the lesson!! Hang in there & focus on getting back to being your old self...I guarantee you, it will get better if you just hunker down, move on, wait it out & give yourself a chance to be happy!!

ya man a sting after 2 years like that really takes you for a downer. Just keep your head up man and it sux and is hard but youll find someone to nmake you happy again and forget her.
