Well I ended up going. Good thing too ... or else I'd have missed out. Those guys never cease to amaze me with their talent.

I went down there not wanting to spend more than $60 on a ticket. Face value for the cheapest seat was $85, but I knew that it wasn't sold out and I figured I might get a deal from a scalper.

So I'm walking towards the Grand Garden and the first guy I see selling tickets has two seats. I say "lookin' for one ... " as I pass him, and he turns around and says "you need one? ... How about $60, face value is $85 ... the box office won't even give you a deal like that." So I say "how about $50 ... I need to get a beer also". So he sells it to me for $50. Directly behind the soundboard, right on the rail, full view of the stage and video screens, and nobody within 5 seats of me in either direction.

Ahhh... I love this town.

Fucking great! I was dying to see them again after their first visit here in July. Lindsey Buckingham is a monster. To see him do Big Love all by himself with just an acoustic guitar is incredible. I'm happy that I decided to go down there. Heh!

Re: Fleetwood Mac

I dig them. I'm gonna buy the Mick Fleetwood drum loop CD from Sony Pictures Media. Great for chopping up 'cause his beats are usually pretty simple. I'm mostly after that production sound.
