Can anyone believe the Sox are 2.5 games behind the Yankees and 4.5 lead in the Wild Card. I for one was counting the season over when they were 10.5 games back.

I thought the season was over before we hit the All-Star break. This is a great run! What more can you ask for then the last month of the season actually deciding the season!!! Six games left against the yanks will probably decide whether we win the east or settle for the Wild Card.

They don't even have ballplayers you can root for anymore, like Big O'Neill or Boomer Wells. They're baseball's version of last year's Lakers.
