Okay...here's the deal. You're dating the woman/man of your dreams...you've been seeing each other for awhile and never has the topic of sex come up. One night you're together and you feel the need to bring up what obviously needs to be discussed. She/He tells you that no way will they have sex until they are married (whether it be religious reasons, morals, what have you)....anyway...you really like this person...she/he is all you really want out of a person...BUT...what would you do...

Well, I know that I'm about to get flamed with about 200 posts calling me the biggest pussy ever, but my g/f wants to wait until marriage, and I'm going to honor that. Of course I want to do it, and sometimes it really sucks, but I love her for so many other reasons that there's no way I'm going to leave her for that. She's a great person, and I really want to be with her, so I guess a sacrifice has to be made. I would never cheat on her either, so that option is out. All I know is she better watch out on our wedding night...

Mystichaze is totally right. When you find that perfect match, I don't think there is anything you wouldn't do for her (or him in the case of the ladies reading this). Sure, it sucks having to wait, but that is something that may be extremely important to her.

Why ruin a perfectly good thing by cheating on her or pressuring her to do something she doesn't want to do?

Well, I have to say that I second mystichaze's motion. If my girl told me that, I would definitely respect that. Then again, my girl is awesome, and I seriously hope that we eventually go the distance.

However, if you're not totally into them, and it's more of a physical attraction, or there's much if any doubt in your mind about the future of the relationship, you just have to think about what's important to you, and whether you think waiting for this person is worth it.

But like I said, if the girl (or guy as the case may be) is someone you'd really like to be with, possibly forever... you can wait.

Well, being one of those weirdos who WANTS to wait until marriage, I don't think I'd have much of a problem with a girl who wanted to do that same .

We've been together for over 6 years now, so I think it's safe to say that we're gonna marry for the right reasons, when we do. However, since we're going to different colleges (really sucks! i miss her like crazy!), it will probly be a couple years yet.

You know to believe in that crap in this day and age when sexual disfunctions or labido lose is a common marital problem your stupid. I've seen enough friend and myself go through the shit of, "there is the girl you dated and the one you married". And you end up in court and half your shit is gone.
