What I found most interesting about todays prelim. trial. ....... Winters was the detective that interviewed kate after the incident.



"Winters also acknowledged the woman didn't tell him she told Bryant "no" when he interviewed her the day after the alleged rape.

"I asked the accuser why she never told Mr. Bryant 'no,' " Winters wrote in his report.

Last week, however, Winters testified the victim told him she told Bryant "no" repeatedly, and that Bryant even forced her to turn around and face him and say it at one point.

Arfurvirus... Let me just say a thing about a women actually getting raped. This is not a statement about kobe or kaitlin at all.

But saying that a women is actually getting raped, she usually does not yell. My mom told me not to if I ever got raped, a lot of self defense classes tell you that if you find yourself in that situation not to yell. This is because if you scream it increases your chances of getting killed. Maybe not on purpose, but if he is trying to muffle your screams you can suffocate or break your neck. Crying is what actually goes on, and people in other rooms don't hear it, or aren't that alarmed if they do.

Now back to Kobe and Kaitlin. This yelling topic has been my biggest beef since the beginning, and someone posted something like "Victims Scream rape, not go to the cops the next day" (sorry couldn't find the exact post). As proof on rape, someone not screaming for help is not an indicator that they were not raped. However, bruises are. I would at least expect an initial struggle, so if Kobe and the alleged victim didn't have any bruises to speak of that makes me believe that it didn't go on as she said.

In the movies, when the damsel in distress is confronted by the ugly monster, she screams, she faints and she falls. I real life none of the above. Screaming with bring attention to her, her body's defense system would not let her faint and of course she'll run like hell not fall down.

However one thing a girl probably wouldn't do either is cry. She's thinking about getting the hell out of there, not gaining the sympathy of her aggressor. That'll will just makes emotions worse and impede her judgment when she needs it most. She'll cry later...

That seems right to me too and the Defense is doing a good job keeping focus on the more important facts. It's so funny how some think screaming, struggling and slapping had to have occurred in most rape situation. They might occur in remote situations, not generally in densely populated areas. I think force is a precursor then followed by some type of restrain. Very few signs of that. In that luxury hotel room, everything seems like still in place. Kate willingly RE-entered at own will, sneaking past security. Then she knocked on door asking permission to enter. They talked further. She showed her tatoo in private area, removing own clothes. They kissed. She said she consented. He goes further. Detective Rogers said she told him she didn't say "no" clearly. Things just went from 1st base to 2nd, then 3rd and Kobe hoping to score. Well, Kobe was tagged out before making it home. Kate left the game early, leaving him biting the dust. :angryfire

Look I don't know know if it was rape or not, only 2 people do, well 1 may be dillusionable..so she may really think she was. And if she was then put him under the jail. Anyhow, all I know is the broad don't change her panties, didn't everyone elses mom in the world tell them to put on clean undies?!?!?!?! How many women have had sex with a man and then not taken a bath atleast within twelve hours. And you would damn sure change your draws!!! (We're talkin about a time span of atleast 36 hrs.) Anyway, you're right about her smelly panties. It has enough trace evidence on it to free an army from rape charges. If she wasn't the accuser, there's enough evidence to charge her for working in the streets. :hass: Those panties reads like a text book case. And poor Kobe got sloppy seconds and thirds. :hass:

I am awaiting the trial and the results of this whole fiasco, but never have I seen such a disturbing thought. Poor Kobe, forget that. How about stupid idoit bastard Kobe. He never should have put himself in that situation so I must correct your quote.

I know this is a slow session in between preliminary hearing, so I don't want to be ahead of myself when posting. What we heard so far is based on the detective's reporting of what he thought he heard from the accuser and what he remembered. We have NOT heard from Kate nor did we see Kobe take the blue chair yet. Therefore, there is a lot of rumors, speculations and hearsay going on. Those choice words you used to describe Kobe is certainly accurate, including moron, stupid, idiot and more. Had he allowed his BIG head to work, his LITTLE head would not had started those dumbass actions that got his wad in the ringer. What a jackass!

I like to know whether Kate kissed and caressed voluntarily Kobe's little head. "If she admits, You must acquit" It's over for her. One exception: If the medical exam shows that Kate's teeth marks matched those on his little head, Kobe loses. :ummm:
