Would you casually date one?

I wouldnt fuck one. I wouldnt date one and obviously i wouldnt be in a serious relationship with one. Yes, their occupation makes a difference. Look at them, half of them have no class and no respect for themselves whatsoever. Im sure others will disagree, but thats just my opinion. Theres no way i could be with someone who is out fucking other guys on a consistent basis. Most relationships end on someones infidelity and naturally its happening in a relationship like that. Now, if i were to consider a girl who had a position in sexual entertainment, it would probably be a stripper, but only one who worked at a classy joint, as in KEEP THE FUCKIN HANDS OFF! Strippers tend to be some needy bitches. The ones that strip long term usually do it because they love guys falling all over them all the time. The "what have you done for me lately" mentality out of them gets old real fast. These are the ones to stay away from. The ones that do it short time tend to be the crabby ass bitches that whine like they've got sand in their pussy all the time. You know the type. Hey, they do what they do to get by, and I don't hold that against anyone.
It's not as though porn is a lifelong commitment - tons of girls try it for a year or two, then move on...just like any other job, except it pays better, and they're guranteed way more public, uh...adoration...than, say, a real-estate agent or a hairstylist.

That said, there are a few pornies I'd fuck, absolutely. Most of them are fairly low-profile girls, though, as I find those starlets who make porn their defining career tend toward unattractive very quickly, as they become more and more ridiculous, constantly upgrading themselves to ward off age and entropy, to appeal to a wider audience, or to cling desperately to their superstar status (see Jenna Jameson for a prime example).

Would I date one? Well, that depends on the person, but yeah, sure.
If a girl was absolutely awesome and we actually connected on more than a physical level, but she just happened to be in the pron biz, I couldn't hold that against her.
