This is my gut feeling what happened. I think I heard enough now to guess what could have happened. What do you guys think?

Katelyn gives Kobe a tour around the resort. They both flirt. Katelyn is feeling good that a celebrity is digging her. Later she agrees to go to Kobe's room. They talk a bit about Kobe's new tattoo and Katelyn tells Kobe about her tattoo, but it's in private place. She proceeds to lift her dress to show Kobe and then Kobe pulls her closer and they kiss, and kiss. Then Kobe starts to feel her and she begins to realize that she is in over her head, she is not confident enough to tell Kobe no, so she claims she needs to get back to work. But kobe says don't worry about work, I'll cover for you. And they continue to kiss and feel some more and her panties start to come off and she says again "i should get back to work and she begins to get dressed. But Kobe persuades her again and tells her not to worry about work, he will take care of everything. She gets nervous and can't think of any other excuse so she succombs to his persuasion. Kobe wants it doggy style, probably so he can finish her fast so she can get back to work, so he moves over to the chair and guides her into position. At this point katelyn hopes to grin and bear it. But after Kobe penetrates her, she gets hurt because it's way too big for her, but she continues to be a trooper and tries to take it more....but it is just hurting too much and she begins to cry. Kobe stops and Katelyn wants to get out of there as soon as possible and she is really upset. Kobe is surprised and stops her before she leaves and tells her to clean up fiirst. Kobe is feeling bad now, not because he raped her but because she wasn't ready for his big dick. She cleans up and then leaves. She is upset with herself because she didn't want sex, but she didn't have the confidence to tell Kobe "No" because he is a celebrity and was too persuasive.

She gets home and mom asks her whats wrong and she tells her mom her side of the story, but of course she has to exaggerate and twists the facts a little because she doesnt want her mom to know she is a slut. Her mom tells her that it's rape. Katelyn is still confused about everything, but she knows she feels bad and turns her anger from herself to Kobe because people are telling her now that it was rape. Meanwhile Kobe has to order porn and flies solo the rest of the way.

If this is the scenario, would you consider this rape? I wouldn't. I think it is just sex gone wrong, but not rape. Katelyn and Kobe both learned something about a playa's life. Katelyn knows she needs to be more confident and say "no she doesnt want it" and that she should not be flirting with playas and lifting up her dress to them in private. And kobe learns to stick with the professionals. They both got punished enough already. The world thinks Katelyn is a ho and Kobe lost his endorsements and reputation as a good role model. Judge should just dismiss the case and let both parties lick their wounds.

As a result of this case Colorado will make a new rape law. Every man will need to get written consent of every women they have sex with. Failure to do so will result in death penalty. Katelyn's ex boyfriend continues to kiss her ass and provide her with shoulder to cry on in hopes to get some sloppy seconds. Vanessa learns the ways of all wives of wealthy men around the world. Let them use other women for sex as long as they don't leave them and that they use a condom.

Kate went to Kobe's room to seduce him because she wanted to have his child. This was her easiest path to fame, an obsession of hers. But before her plan was successful, Kobe rejected her. She became psychotic for a short while as boderlines do at times under stress when their goals are thwarted. She truly believes Kobe raped her and that she is his victim. Fear of losing her parents' love for her is a big part of it.

sdrocks, kinda what I envisioned also. This ain't any slam dunk case. No prior offense; clean as a streak record. Pillar in the sports industry. Moneys galore in defense. Outcome will parallel the OJ case. NOT Guilty. Pittbull Pamela will smack the heck out of the novice DA. And I'm not even an attorney. :angryfire

No evidence whatsoever in Preliminary. You're speculating, just like street rumor. Kobe's T-shirt will have traces and DNA samples . Not one stinking piece of evidence so far.

well we know from the preliminary report that she was not attacked as soon as she intered the room.so NEWSWEEK got it wrong unless this was Faber's first story.

There are at least two versions to the truth that night inside that hotel room. One thing is certain, she consented at first, according to the Prelimary Hearing testimony. We don't know for what and when. Then supposedly, Kate said "no." But no to what, when, how etc? Kobe said consensual, and he let her go home when said "no." So who are we to believe? Does it really take a criminal trial in such a weak and flimsy rape claim? Next, cops will be policing every bedrooms across America. Not even a close call and takes away from all the more serious rape cases.

I agree with you I think that she just couldn't handle what he has in his pants so the hoe started to cry. Kobe is a celebrity so of course she wanted it. If she didn't want it she was just being stupid and not saying no I mean why would she be scared of Kobe Bryant up until this case he had a very clean image. I don't think it was rape.
