Cubs v Yanks Ultimate of ultimates of course the yanks will win though. seriously i don't think a streak such as the cubs or sox will ever be broken at the expense of the yankees

The Yankees wont do it this year, Yankee pitching is very suspect

Mussina hasnt looked good since coming back from the DL
Vazquez hasn't been pitching well and neither has Brown

Their only consistent pitchers are Hernandez and Rivera and the bullpen is old and worn out

Lefty will be too excited by this but ... Cards look like they're gonna do it this year. They have no discernible weaknesses that will hurt them in the postseason. In the AL, I would be disappointed if Boston didn't go to the Series after the moves they made, but wouldn't be surprised to see any of the contenders go.

Cardinals are definitely the best team in baseball.

I think Boston can be dangerous in the playoffs especially with Martinez and Schilling as 1-2 punch but getting to the playoffs is our first step. Its going to be a tight race
