its only in select theaters, i drove like an hour to go see it, and i have to say it was one of the funniest movies ive ever seen.

any thoughts on it?

EDIT: Found it, not my type of movie I don't believe. Weird though, I usually stay pretty up-to-date on movies, and I hadn't even heard of this one.

The movie is sort of pointless, funny but there is really no plot line or any major goals. Everything just sort of happens, if you like dumb things type humor then it's good. Dont go in expecting to see anything intelligent though.

when the previews first came out i thought it looked dumb. i've seen another trailer online and it actually looks kinda funny. i think i'll wait for it to come out on dvd to watch it though...

it didn't go over well with me. the movie was so bizarre that for the first 15 minutes of the movie, i thought all the laughing in the theater was a laughtrack on the movie--i just didn't see what people could have been laughing at

I agree that it was the funniest movie I have seen this year. Its humor is really brilliant. I have to say that since the big budget movies have been doing the same thing for years, it is time that people start investing in these low budget movies. For example, look at the movie Terminal by Steven Spielberg. It has to be the worst movie I have seen in years. Yet, so many people go and see it, which obviously lets these old directors do really crappy movies that add nothing to your life.

I thought it was okay, but very odd. The humor was trying really hard, but just couldn't get out. It has its moments though.

and I thought Anchorman was quite funny, because Steve Carell is hysterical.

Shew Naploeon Dynamite is hilarious........however about it not having a plot, it had a plot.....sort of......loosely speaking, the plot was about pedro getting elected school president and kip meeting and marrying his soul mate.....this movie has a much deeper meaning than what many see.....i just couldn't tell u what that is.....i love this movie, and as for will ferrell.....his is one of the funniest people on the planet.....please note i said "one of."
