Re: PS2 vs X-Box vs Game Cube

PS2, Loads of games, backwards compatible, games for every age group, plays DVD's, and online play. Smaller controllers for smaller hands.

XBox, Lots of games, built in hard drive, no pesky memory cards, Online play, can record music for custom soundtracks. Plays DVD's with 30 aditional hardware. Most games suitable for teens and up, parental control. Larger controllers for larger hands

Gamecube, many games, most geared toward younger generation. CANNOT play dvd's, cd's. Online play with purchase of addtional hardware, Fairly large controllers, smaller than xbox.

I had a Gamecube bought an Xbox, and sold the gamecube. If you want pure gaming power, and more adult games, XBox, more variety, full selection of games, PS2, for younger kids, PS2 or Gamecube.

Re: PS2 vs X-Box vs Game Cube

the ps2 has alot of the best games, but the xbox is alot better looking and the gamecube is just kindof in between them both decent games looks alrights but not the best of either. if you get the xbox modded you can do all kinds of fun stuff with it (it will even run linux) so i have to say the xbox would be my choice if i were in the market for a new console

Re: PS2 vs X-Box vs Game Cube

im afraid the xbox wins hands down. Better hardware, more power. Better online servers.
i love my xbox more than my wife sometimes.unconditional pleaseure without the nagging.
if it had a vagina shaped controller port, i would be getting divorced right now.

Re: PS2 vs X-Box vs Game Cube

yeah i gotta agree on the account that Xbox is great with Xbox Live and all with Halo 2 and Fable coming out soon and I play it the most. BUt Ive always loved Nintendo games and Gamecube has given me the most enjoyable time with Zelda and Mario even if most of the other games sucked.

Re: PS2 vs X-Box vs Game Cube

I like a lot of the hardware graphics capabilities of the Gamecube, such as advanced cel shading. When this feature is implemented in games, they just shine. Combine that with a component video cable and it's just from there.

I like the variety of games of the Xbox, but it's too bulky for me to add to my entertainment center. I have a PS2, it's a decent medium between Gamecube and Xbox.

Re: PS2 vs X-Box vs Game Cube

playstation 2. final fantasy, backwards compatible for all the old psx games, more games with better selection, online play is FREE and a lot of multiplatform games that support online play only support it on the ps2, and we get grand theft auto san andreas before xbox.
