How do you say you're sorry? Are you one who just expects them to read your mind and know you're sorry? Do you come out and say the words? Do you suck up by buying them something? Or are you one of those who absolutely will not admit when you're wrong?

I am a stubborn guy, but I'm also very apologetic. Sometimes I apologize for things I have no control over. I'm weird like that. Alas, when I am wrong, I try to fess up to it and ask for forgiveness.

I have absolutely no problems with saying sorry. Even if my part in in was only small. Sometimes the other person needs a lead in and hearing me humble myself enough to apologize and be willing to give is all they need to start talking. I pick my battles and they are few and far between. Saying sorry is really not some huge admission of imperfection or weakness. It is respect for how the other person feels, whether their perception of reality matches yours or not is irrelevant.

I'm stubborn as all hell when I'm "right"......but I've been known to concede a point even when I have the moral high ground just to move on and break an impasse. However I learnt a long time ago....no such thing as a small compromise when it comes to principles.....you're either compromised or you're not!

i guess it depends on the situation. most of the time i will say that i am sorry. sometimes even for things that arent my fault, i catch myself apologizing a lot, even for stupid little things that dont even need it, guess its part of the self-conciousness. but sometimes i can be soo stubborn, but if i am right, or feel strongly enough that i am, i will not say i am sorry, i didnt talk to my dad for 3 months because he was waiting for me to apologize, and i wouldnt because i knew what i did was wrong, but what he did to "punish" me for it was far worse, and totally uncalled for. so yah, i guess it depends on the situation, sometimes i will even say im sorry when im not just to shut someone up, but i dont do that often.
