We all know what happened in the 60's. A huge belief gap between the people and the government nearly caused a revolution.

US had recieved intellegence of WMD in Iraq. Not from their own sources but also foriegn sources as well such as Franch and UK. The US goes to war in Iraq and no WMD.

Now everyone thinks Bush is crazy. Colonel Franks claims if another terror attack hits US soil then there will most likely be martial law. If this happens an unbelievable belief gap between to the people and the gov will be born. There will be no more freedom.

Could the intellegence of the WMD been foiled by terrorist? and if it was then they have taken massive amounts of our resources, created a belief gap between the people and the government, and took away more of our freedoms. Essentially by looking at the world situation in this view this could be the terrorists' globalization war.

uhhh, there will never be martial law throughout the US, and iraq had wmd's, we gave them to them, if you don't believe it then there is nothing i can do to make you believe

When did we give Iraq WMD?? As far as intelligence, there have been lies from the government in war. At the start of the Vietnam war, the government told the American people that North Vietnamese troops attacked a servailance boat with no cause. This is how we got involved in the war between North and South Vietnam. On August 2, 1964, the US government announced to the public that the US destroyer Maddox, while on a "routine patrol" in international waters had undergone an "unprovoked act". Two days later, the pentagon released information of a second attack on the same ship, and a companion destroyer, the C. Turner Joy. Years later, a source in the Pentagon leaked that the Maddox had, in fact, not been on a routine mission, but was assisting South Vietnamese gunboats make raids on North Vietnam. Therefore, the war in Vietnam was based on lies given to the people by our own government.
