This all sounds too sketchy already. They're under a gag order but Katelyn's ex boyfriend said on the preview for tonights interview, that Katelyn asked him to tell her side of the story. True he is not directly involved, but he said that Katelyn asked him to do this interview. In the preview he said that she did try to commit suicide twice, but she is completely stable now and that she is scared of Kobe. She didnt seem too scared if she could party and brag about his dick shortly after the incident. I think this all smells already but I'm looking forward to tonights interview. Not sure what time it's on but its on CBS-48 hours investigates.

I also want to give props to kobe and his peeps for busting that hitman. They could have just ignored the fool, but they did the right thing and busted his ass.

i saw it last night. It disgusts me how her boy-friend can come on TV and tell everyone what Kate told him to say. She is loving every minute of her "fame", and all her friends are loving their airtime too. I swear, everyone in that city in Colorado is attention-craved. From the Accuser, to her friends, to her mom, to the Police Chief, to the Attorneys.

They're all fucked up.

Now i'm hoping more than ever that there will be No Trial. And it seems likely that will be the outcome.

Well, the same can be said for Kobe's side too. His highschool girlfriend was on TV pulling for Kobe. She was saying that Kobe was wonderful to her all the time, even though when they were exclusive Kobe took the r&b singer Brandy to prom. She said that this was to help promote his image, that his parents and agent set it all up for him.

Yikes, it's PR. And in Kobe's case, neither the DA leaks, the accuser's family and friends will be able to spin them as PROFESSIONALLY and with the deep pockets as Kobe's defense and publicists. Not even a close call. Also, the media has taken a turn on Kobe being the bad dude. The pre-trial war is deciding on Kobe's defense. Put your bets that Eagle can't find a unanimous guilty verdict.

Ken, I agree totally with you... but the deal is, is that Kobe had a established reputation as a good guy already. Kate has had death threats and stuff too. All I am saying is if Kobe's ex can come on and pull for him, it is fair for her ex to come on and pull for her. I realize it is publicity, I agree with your statement completely- including the verdict. I am just telling \^/ est here that it is happeneing in both camps.

Yikes, you're very observative and savvy to what's going on the real world with your assessment. Both sides are trying to gain an edge before trial with influencing the court of public opinion. Back a few months ago, the media and nightly talk shows didn't seem like they knew their ass from a hole, to expose the greed. Okay, maybe Kobe the jock is horny, but a rapist? I don't know Kobe for beans, not a fan, nor watch even 2 minutes of any of his ballgames ever. Don't care to either. What peaks my interest is the massive media saturation and the public outcry. :wiggle: Having followed enough of the pre-trial publicity, I say this entire case is as you said earlier - the accuser is a ho and looking to fill their purses. Had Kate sued her poor rapist local boys previously, I say she can be trusted. Looks more like deep pocket opportunitists. And they are $$$$ using our tax dollars to increase their cheap lot. $$$$

lmoa!! you definately have a way with words. I am really bothered on a bigger scale- maybe it is my innocence or being naive, whatever... But It just really bugs me that it is so hard to prove rape, but I realize it is the nature of the beast. Do not get me wrong, I do not want innocent people going to jail either.

I understand your point. Both sides have a right to have supporters. But in Kate's case her boyfriend was more like a tool for Kate to express her own views. He was talking on behalf of Kate because Kate could not. Kobe's ex was speaking on her own behalf. I think Kobe lost a lot more throughout all of this and his reputation already suffered and he needs support. If kate really was at a party the next night having fun and talking about Kobe's dick then I don't think she lost anything as far as dignity or anything like that. If she was openly talking about the sex with Kobe then I think she was actually trying to use the situation to her advantage. Whatever she suffered is because of her accusation whether it's true or not.
