Humanity vs. Spirituality -- Ayn Rand & others

Has anyone here read much of Ayn Rand or Dostoyevski? Particularly The Fountainhead or The Brothers Karazamov? I've been out of school for a few years and have never had a chance to discuss either work. I'm currently a devout Catholic, but struggle with certain teachings ... particularly those which glorify the poor and condemn the rich. I don't know ... I'm just looking to talk. I've written some of my thoughts in my journal here at webrats ... if anyone's interested in reading it and discussing the implications, I'd be one happy drunk.

Cheers with no fears,
-DP
