Haha, I actually did have problems with them a little more serious than just being denied access. I wonder if I can get anymore money out of them than 49 bucks?

Back in December, my account was closed because someone that was on that account wanted to be removed and their info removed, instead of just removing the info, they locked up my account for over a week without allowing me access to the account. After this person printed out and filled out these forms saying there was no dispute and etc...they finally reopened my account.

Bad thing is..this happened right before xmas, and by the time the account was reopened, it was too late to pay for the items I'd purchased on Ebay for my son's xmas and had to let it all go back..causing my son to be without his xmas presents, and got me negative feedback on Ebay.

A guy I worked with got an email about this from PayPal, but I didn't get one and I registered in that time period. I don't think I ever had any problems with them though. Did anyone get money back from that record company settlement for overpriced CD's a couple years ago? I got about $10 back from it a few months ago.

yeah the problem is it's like a rebate... you'll get it by the time you retire... provided you are younger than 30, otherwise will it to your children...

I haven't ever had a problem w/ paypal so I don't feel right making a claim and I'm not gonna... but it seems many of you have had probs. and I think you should certainly fill out the form... $50 for 5 min. work aint bad...

doing these things require so much paperwork its kinda annoying. Myself and several other people I know got locked out of legitimate accounts, so I will be doing this.

on another note, did paypal start charging for individual accounts paypal -> paypal ? My friend was trying to send me money and they tried to take $20 out of it. Luckily I was able to deny the payment to avoid the fee. Is there any way to send (and recieve) people money via paypal for free still ?
